Camping Uffenheim

A small campsite well located to visit many lovely places within driving distance. The obvious don't miss is Rothenburg. We pitched in the slightly separated area at the end of the campsite which was nice but the main area as you enter and to the right looks packed in and not very nice. An occasion where I regret giving so many five scores for friendlyness as this one should be a six. Very very nice chap who walked around most evening to ask each pitch if everyone was OK (no English spoken though). The pool was a municipal size pool with lots of grass play area around and made for family visits. It was also free entry for campers. We were surprised just how much there was to see in the area and hadn't planned enough time to see everything, so we will go back. The prices would be OK but we have four dogs and the charge for those at this campsite made it at the more expensive end for us and for that reason we might look at another site next time.
